You are required to attend a Volunteer Training (VT) prior to your group volunteer event. We will host a brief training day of the event if necessary. However, we require volunteers to attend a mandatory training session once a year if they are interested in volunteering indivudally. VT's will be a time to learn more about The Backpack Project of Athens, homelessness (specifically in Athens), volunteer opportunities, and protocol’s when in the field.
