Whether you're affiliated with the Univerisity of Georgia or a community member in Athens, anyone can serve and help ease the burden of homelessness. Without the dedication and hardwork from our passionate volunteers, we would not be able to continuously and consistently serve the homeless community.

We work hard to ensure that your donation will change the life of a someone facing homelessness.Through your donations, we are able to buy all of the 40+ essential items that go in the backpacks wholesale, taking advantage of nonprofit and bulk rates and discounts, so your money will have more purchasing power through us. We promise to stretch your dollar for the highest impact possible.

We invite your community organization to become a partner with The Backpack Project of Athens! Your group can partner with us in a variety of ways through drives, cooking and delivery events, backpack packing, and more.
